Option to use LED tea lights
To increase safety or extend the lighting time, we recommend using LED tea candles. LED candles are a suitable alternative to regular tea candles; they do not generate heat, making the lantern safe even in households with children or pets.

Safety instructions for use:

1. Replacing the Candle– When replacing a tea candle (whether traditional or LED), do not remove the aluminum holder from the lantern. This holder must be securely fastened to the lantern and helps keep the candle in the correct position.
2. Use of Appropriate Candles– We recommend using only the special tea candles available in our online store as replacement parts. These candles are designed specifically for this type of lantern and meet all safety and functional requirements. For LED candles, select a model of the appropriate size to ensure stability and proper positioning of the candle in the holder.
3. Replacing or Removing the Holder– If the customer replaces the aluminum holder with a different holder, removes it, or uses a candle other than the recommended one, no warranty claim can be made. Changing the holder or using an unsuitable candle may damage the lantern and render it inoperable.
4. Placement of the Lantern– Always place the lantern on a stable, non-flammable surface out of reach of children and pets.
5. Safe Distance– Ensure there are no flammable materials (curtains, tablecloths, etc.) around the lantern, and prevent the wax lantern from coming into contact with direct heat or sunlight.
6. Extinguishing the Candle– If you are using a traditional tea light, always extinguish it before leaving or moving the lantern. Turn off LED candles when they are not in use.
7. Lantern Placement –Thewaxlantern is intended for indoor use only at temperatures between +5 and +25 °C, away from direct sunlight and other heat sources, such as heaters, fireplaces, etc.
