Glassor is a Czech artisanal company specialized in the design, manufacture and sale of Christmas decorations in blown glass. The tradition of glassmaking in the Czech Republic dates back to the 13th century when it develops and persists uninterrupted since. Czech high quality glass is known worldwide under the name of “Bohemian glass”. The manufacturing of hand-blown glass Christmas decoration is more recent and comes from 19 centuries. The company Glassor, family business, is part of this tradition and is committed to perpetuating its know-how of craft Christmas decorations in blown glass.
In 2015, Jicin production plant, located in the northern Czech Republic has been modernized to increase its manufacturing capacity and reduce its impact on the environment. Glassor has improved a responsive and flexible service to meet the needs of its customers.

As a part of the company Quality Control Department is constantly controlling the quality of products after each process. Packaging of the end product is the final stage of the control process. In this regard both the quality of glass, decoration and strength of the package are controlled. Purchasing is a key area for GLASSOR in terms of effectively managing costs and quality. Employees’ performance responds to this dual requirement. We purchase the best raw materials from leading European manufacturers. All colours, paints and other materials that are used by our company are fully certified by the relevant state authorities and approved for use in interior. Quality is the key to our succes. Our quality management is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
